There are 3 ways to pay for a 1-to-1 Project invoice.
- Credit Card
- PayPal
- Credits (they will be always used first, and any amount still due is payable by credit card or PayPal).
Do I have to pay in advance before I see the designers initial concepts in the project?
-
Yes, payment is due to 99designs before the work can commence. Once the work is completed and 99designs is notified of such completion, 99designs will pay the designer through the designer’s account and they can request a payout at their convenience.
- Designers: This helps give your client confidence that you are committed to the project
- Clients: Your designer will start the work on your project when the project is setup and all requirements have been met.
If however, the work is done but the client hasn't approved the final files, the designer can ask for a completion of a project. This will release any secured invoices in the form of 99designs credits to the designer after a 5-day timer expires. It is up to you, the client, to stop the timer before it expires if work isn't completed as you agreed.
What if I need a refund?
We cannot refund if the 1-to-1 project is in progress or completed because work has been done by the designer. If would like to request a refund, you must first receive a confirmation from your designer that the refund is approved by them. This also must be in writing on the 1-to-1 project. Once this part is completed, simply contact support and we'll process the refund for you.
