A featured contest is one that the contest holder has decided to give extra promotions to in the 99designs marketplace.
Featured contests are:
- displayed before non-featured contests on the default Design contests page
- displayed with a highlighted ribbon to draw attention
You can choose to feature your contest as part of the process of starting a contest, or using the Upgrade & promote button within the "..." button underneath your contest's price. (See screenshot below)
Adding extra features is a great way to garner in more attention to your contest. It helps reach out to a wider range of designers.
