The 99designs community is full of talented designers. So we’ve created the Top Level designer program to provide customers with exclusive access to a pool of hand-picked designers.
What are Platinum contests?
Platinum contests ensure customers work only with the best designers.
While that doesn’t mean there’s less work for the customer to do, it does mean that the standard of design quality is higher than in Bronze, Silver or Gold contests.
Platinum contests:
- include personalized support from a dedicated 99designs account manager
- are only open to our Top Level designers
- are always guaranteed once the Final Round begins
- have have finalist prizes as well as the prize for the winner.

What are finalist prizes?
With every Platinum contest, in addition to the winner’s prize, there’s a finalist prize pool that will be shared by designers who are selected for the Final round.
The finalist pool is 15% of the total prize amount. So if, for example, the total prize amount is $1,000, and you were 1 of 2 finalists, you’d get $75 just for being selected to go into the Final round.
If you go on to win the contest, you get both the winner’s prize and your share of the prize pool ($850 first prize + $75 finalist prize).
Designers who haven’t been invited to join the Top Level program see a large, blue header on any Platinum contest page. This lets them know they can’t enter the contest.
