How do I invite a designer to a 1-to-1 project?

There are several ways to start a 1-to-1 project with a designer. Which of the following two scenarios fit your needs?

1. Are you looking to hire a designer you haven't worked with before?

- If "yes" then read the section "Inviting a designer I haven't worked with before"

2. Or are you looking to re-hire a designer you've worked with in the past?

- If you're saying "yup that's what I need" then continue to the 2nd section titled for "Inviting a designer to work with me again"

Inviting a designer you haven't worked with before...

Scenario One – "I don't know what designer I want to work with, can you show me some options?"

Step 1

Go to the 1-to-1 Projects home page and click ‘Get Started’

Step 2

Now, you'll need to tell us what you need designed... In this step you'll fill out the project brief describing what you need designed. We use this information to determine which designer(s) will suit your needs best.

- Note: If you don't yet have an account, you'll be prompted to sign up when you're filling out the project brief so that you can access it at any time.

Step 3

Now the magic happens! When your project brief is complete, we'll show you, several designers, to choose from that match your project requirements. Select up to 5 designers to see your brief and come back to you with a quote!

Scenario Two – "I'd like to sort through the designers myself to find one who will best suit my design needs."

Step 1

Access our designer search tool by "designers" at the top of the page, then "Find new designers"

Step 2

Narrow down your search by using the various filters on the left side to find the perfect designer!

Step 3

You can now do two things:

1. Click on the designers' name to view more of their portfolio or...

2. Click "Invite" to go through the invitation process. This will walk you through inviting that designer to provide you with a quote for the design you need to be completed.
