Once a customer has declared a winner in their contest, the design handover process begins.
If you’re the winning designer, here’s what happens next:
Upload the finished design files for the customer. This is done by clicking ‘ADD FILES’ and selecting the files you’d like to upload. Alternatively, you can drag and drop the files directly to where it says ‘Drop files here to upload’.
When you upload your work, please make sure you are uploading all of your designs in the requested file formats.
Next, you’ll need to sign the Design Transfer Agreement. After you tick the box, a drop-down will appear where you can edit the information that will be used in the Design Transfer Agreement. Please ensure that your name and address are correct. If you are signing the agreement on behalf of a company, you may enter the company’s name in the Full Name field.
- Once you’ve made sure that the information is correct, go ahead and click ‘SEND FILES FOR REVIEW’ to send the finished designs to the customer.
- The customer then reviews the design, and can request small changes if they’re needed.
- Once the customer is happy with the final files, they will approve the payment and the prize is awarded to you. You can either request a payout, or use those earnings on 99designs.
Note: If the customer hasn’t approved payment of the prize 5 days (10 days for Logo & hosted website contests) after you upload the first deliverable, the prize will automatically be paid to you. This automatic payment release timer can be stopped on request by the customer if you are still working with them on revising the final design.
